Pastor John Kinyon was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and became a Christian at the age of 15 through the influence of Young Life and his best friend. A graduate of Cornell University and Vanderbilt Law School, John was employed as a Wall Street banker and an attorney while ministering in the collegiate and community-based ministries of The Navigators and Campus Crusade for Christ, before heeding God's call to full-time church ministry. Upon graduation from Reformed Theological Seminary in 1994, John and his family moved to the Island of Oahu where they planted a multi-ethnic evangelical church for the Presbyterian Church in America. While in Hawaii, John also taught theology and church history and served as Dean of Undergraduates at International College and Graduate School--Hawaii's only accredited bible college and seminary. Pastor John, Claire (his wife of 15 years), and their five boys have moved back to Pennsylvania to plant Cornerstone Presbyterian Church: Lehigh Valley's newest evangelical church!
