Aug 24th - Worship in the Park & Church-wide Picnic   On Sunday, Aug 24th, we will be conducting our Sunday morning worship service at 10am under the pavilion at the Upper Saucon Park adjacent to DeSales University.  Following our worship service, we will enjoy a nice lunch together!  If your last name begins with the letters A-F, please bring an appetizer or chips; G-P bring a side dish or salad, and Q-Z a dessert.  Cornerstone will supply the paper products, drinks, hamburgers, and hot dogs.  Bring sports equipment and lawn chairs.  FMI, please contact Kim King (610) 216-6320.

TONIGHT – West Valley Church Plant Gathering   The West Valley church plant (Cornerstone’s first daughter-church) will continue praying/planning at the home of David and Alyssa Reed (7261 Corning Road, Zionsville) tonight from 5pm-7:30pm.  TONIGHT, we will discuss gospel-centered worship contextualized for our target are (their area of expertise).

YoungLives - YoungLives is a ministry of YoungLife teenage mothers in the Lehigh Valley. If you have a desire to help with this unique ministry OR if you would be able to help pay to send a young mother and child to the YoungLives camp in August, please contact Jenny Johnson at 610-866-5233.

CareNet has immediate needs!  Care Net’s Allentown office has an URGENT need for a Ministry Coordinator, volunteer bi-lingual teachers and peer advocates (men and women). Topics include healthy relationships, nutrition, parenting, safety, etc. Abstinence presenters are also needed to share with public schools, youth groups and other organizations. Staff Position: Nurse Manager, 20hrs/week to oversee ultrasound program.

Aug 10th – 16th  Senior High Summer Missions Trip  This summer, our Senior High will be taking a mission trip to Washington D.C..  We will be joining New Covenant Presbyterian Church, of Abingdon MD - a sister PCA congregation.  Our students are seeking to raise funds to cover the $366 expense – so if you have odd jobs or are interested in supporting their ministry, please contact Becky Straw (443-910-2884) or Mike Notary (610-297-2025).

Aug 24th – Kid’s Promotion Sunday  On Sunday, Aug 24th, the Promiseland ministry at Cornerstone will be recognizing those children who are graduating into 6th Grade and presenting them with a special gift during the service.  Congratulations to our newest graduates!

Sept 20th – Coopersburg Community Day   We are in need of volunteers to man our children’s attraction and table at the upcoming Coopersburg Community Day from 9am-4pm on Saturday, Sept 20th.  This is a great opportunity for us to promote our children’s ministry, and to bless the community.  Contact Bonnie Ridenour (610) 759-5694 if you can help.
