Every Sunday, women are invited to join other women in the church office conference room at 10 a.m. to serve our church family through prayer.  We will pray for each other, for the Sunday a.m. ministries, for our church leadership and other ministries of the church, as well as for those in our congregation who have shared specific needs.  Feel free to pop in as often as you are able.  

In our winter/spring study, Cornerstone's women's ministry, Women By Design , will offer a course many of you have been requesting, taught by our pastor, John Kinyon, with the help of his wife Claire.  This course will cover the fundamentals of the Christian faith in a way that is user-friendly for those new to these topics and/or confused by these topics, and yet still challenging to those who are more mature in their faith.       

It will be offered both on Thursday mornings at Frieden's (9 a.m.) and Tuesday evenings in the living room of the church office (7 p.m.).  We will begin the week of Jan. 12, 2010.

We will be using as our texts, the Bible and Bible Doctrine:  Essential Teachings of the Christian Faith, by Wayne Grudem.  We will not read the entire book but will focus on the chapters appropriate to the topics listed.  This is a great resoure book to have in every Christian home.  We hope to offer it to you at a discount rate.
